Seattle Seahawks vs Kansas City Chiefs - NFL
Fortunately, they face a Kansas City team that made the Texans and Broncos look like competent NFL offenses in the last couple of weeks. Now, I don’t harbor much hope that the Seahawks can win this game based on recent struggles but the fact remains that it’s hard to back the Chiefs given their struggles against the number this year. Kansas City is a dismal 3-10-1 ATS this season and that includes a 0-6-1 mark in their last seven games. This could be the turnaround for them but I’m fading giving double-digit points.
The Seahawks’ first injury report of the week was rather lengthy. Running backs Dallas (ankle) and Walker (ankle) along with Lockett (hand), Fant (knee), defensive tackle Al Woods (Achilles), linebacker Darrell Taylor (illness) and safety Ryan Neal (knee) all did not practice. Lockett had surgery on his hand and is likely to miss this game but watch for updates as the week progresses. Kansas City Chiefs Looking to Maintain MomentumKansas City won their second straight and seventh in the last eight games as they took care of business against the Texans in overtime. The Chiefs improved to 11-3 on the season but they again failed to put away a bad team convincingly. Against the Texans, Kansas City trailed 7-0 after one quarter, 14-13 at the half and 21-16 after three quarters. The Chiefs took their first lead at 24-21 early in the fourth quarter, gave up the tying field goal later in the stanza and had a chance to win at the end of regulation only to have Harrison Butker miss a 51-yard field goal attempt.

4 points per contest. Geno Smith has completed 337 of 472 passes for 3, 671 yards with 26 touchdowns against eight interceptions. He has been sacked 37 times while ranking third on the team with 281 rushing yards and a score. Rashaad Penny is second on the team with 57 carries for 346 yards and two scores though he was lost for the season after ankle surgery and a fractured fibula suffered against the Saints on October 9. That means rookie Kenneth Walker III (150 carries, 696 yards, nine TD) takes over lead back duties while DeeJay Dallas (24 carries, 104 yards) and Travis Homer (19 carries, 74 yards) are next in line on the depth chart. In the passing game, Tyler Lockett is second on the team with 78 catches for 964 yards plus eight scores on the year.
In overtime, the Chiefs punted on their first possession but caught a break when they recovered a fumble on the Texans’ drive. One play later, the game was over as Jerick McKinnon ran 26 yards for the game-winning touchdown. Kansas City rolled up a commanding 502-219 edge in total offense, picked up 33 first downs while allowing 18 and won time of possession by a 37:22 to 27:25 margin. The Chiefs did commit a pair of turnovers while forcing just one takeaway in the game.
